Where everything appears to have been revied and verified, the artists, in the spirit of contemporary progress, present a museum creation that blurs the distinction between artifact and invention, between reconstruction and simulation, and between memory and fiction. It is precisely here that we are called upon to re-examine the relationship between knowledge, authority, and trust, to ask once more: how is truth established in an era where authority is destabilized and tendentious, residing not always within the artifacts themselves, but within the mechanisms of verification whose integrity is called into question?
